A newer creator description retracts the explanation that a Guts front-dash uppercut variant is triggered by holding backward during the front dash. The public text does not expose a complete replacement input, so this guide does not assign that variant to a fixed direction or key.
Keep these two claims separate:
Use the Guts guide for the full correction record. Do not replace the retracted input with a guessed run-dash sequence.

Vessel Sorcerer, Black Swordsman, Wild Hunter, variants and ultimates
Watch on YouTube ↗The video’s own chapters start Vessel Sorcerer at 00:00, its ultimate at 01:48, Black Swordsman at 02:52, its ultimate at 04:15, and Wild Hunter at 04:51. Times in the table are approximate five-second observation windows.
Keep distance and target state fixed so the ordinary animation is clear.
Test backward direction, side-dash state, and airborne state separately.
Look for a changed animation, movement path, target result, or on-screen label.
Do not publish a branch from one ambiguous attempt; record successes and failures.
Mark the record Needs Retest after an update or a conflicting current result.
A visibly changed version used while airborne in the recorded footage. The exact activation input still needs a current device capture.
A changed move branch shown with a backward directional condition, such as the recorded Guts move-four route.
No complete variant list is established. The table only marks branches visible in the checked showcase.
The checked showcase presents it as a Vessel Sorcerer alternate-form segment. Current selection and activation details are not verified.
The showcase presents a Berserker segment after Black Swordsman footage. Meter, duration, and current completeness are not established.
